BALTORO<\/h3>\n\n

Baltoro glacier is one of the largest glaciers in the world that is outside the polar region. It is almost 63 km long and is in Gilgit Baltistan, running through the Karakoram Range near K2. This glacier gives rise to Shigar River, which is the tributary of the Indus River. Baltoro and Godwin Austen confluence point is Concordia which is one of the popular trekking destinations for hikers.<\/span>

PASSU GLACIER<\/h3>\n\nPassu Glacier is at the south of passu village of Hunza. It is the seventh longest glacier in the non-polar region. It contains serene views of the mountains. <\/span><\/p>Biafo glacier is on the Karakoram Range. It is the third-largest glacier of the non-polar region. Male glaciers are grey and people recall them as \u201cpo gang\u201d which gives off little water. While females are shiny white or blue and people saying them mo gang that gives off a lot of water. These are the local stories by simple villagers. The factual figure is that these glaciers feed the rivers accounting for 75 percent of the country\u2019s water supply.<\/span>
